Service Policy Disclaimer
Your quote does not include the following charges. These only apply in rare situations.
At EZY Moving, we believe in clear, honest communication — which is why we want you to be aware of additional service fees that may apply in specific circumstances. These charges are not included in your estimate unless discussed and added to your final invoice. Our goal is to avoid all of these scenarios, but in the event they come up, you'll already know what to expect.
We share this information to stay 100% transparent and avoid any last-minute surprises for you or your crew.
Long Carry
If the walking distance from the truck to your door exceeds 75 ft:
- •First 75 ft is free
- •Each additional 75 ft - $100
Shuttle Service
Required if a full-size truck cannot access your pickup or delivery location:
- •$1.25 per cu. ft.
- •Minimum charge: $500
Extra Stops
If your move requires multiple drop-offs or pickups:
- •One extra stop within 15 miles - $150
- •Each additional mile: $3.50
Redelivery
If delivery cannot be completed due to access issues or customer unavailability:
- •$1.35 per cu. ft.
- •Minimum charge: $500
Waiting Time
If movers are delayed on-site due to building access, packing not ready, or customer delay:
- •$175 per hour
- •Minimum charge: $350
Overnight Waiting
If we must hold your shipment overnight due to a delay or rescheduling:
- •$800 per night
Trash Disposal
Includes disposal of unwanted items or packing materials:
- •$35 per disposal unit (20 cu. ft.)
- •Minimum charge: $200
Guaranteed Delivery Date
If you require guaranteed first-class delivery (specific date/time window):
- •$1,750 flat fee
- •Free for shipments over 1,000 cu. ft.
